Sunrise Alarm & Moon Lamp

Light that arrives before the sound does. The lamp starts dim thirty minutes before your alarm and climbs slowly to full, so you surface instead of being startled. In the evening it runs the other way — dimming down to a low amber you can read by without waking yourself up again.

Two alarms, so weekdays and weekends don't need resetting. Seven colours and a warm moon glow if you want it as a bedside lamp and nothing else. Bright display by day, near-invisible at night.

Use it

• Set sunrise to 30 minutes before you need to be up
• Run the sunset fade while you read
• Leave it on moon mode as a night light for a child's room

What it doesn't do

It won't fix a sleep problem caused by something else, and it isn't a therapy lamp. It changes how the last and first ten minutes of the day feel, which is a smaller promise and a real one.
